LIGIA GRIJALVA

Ligia was born and raised in Los Angeles. Her career in finance and wealth management started in 2004 with Wells Fargo, while she was a student at Cal State Northridge. She started as a part-time teller and rose through the ranks to become branch manager and assistant vice president.

Before joining Advocates Wealth Planning in 2014, she worked with a boutique financial advisory firm in the Houston area. Ligia’s contribution to AWP is most often felt through her impressive work ethic, ensuring client needs are seen through to completion, down to the very last signature line.

Ligia and her family have since moved from Houston to Ledbetter, TX. They enjoy caring for their horses, cows, pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs. They are part of the Jehovah’s Witness congregation La Grange Spanish, where they have made great friends. 

In her personal time, Ligia enjoys traveling, dancing, riding bikes, and camping. While traveling Ligia and her family enjoy meeting new friends, getting to know and understand the culture, and trying new food.
